The REAL Awards honors CHW Roseline Nuhu
Congratulations to Roseline Nuhu! Roseline, a community health worker (CHW) from the Millennium Village Project in Pampaida, Nigeria, is a winner of this year’s REAL Awards! The REAL Awards, given by Save the Children and Frontline Health Workers Coalition, were created to celebrate the life saving work that CHWs do everyday – honoring dedicated CHWs with worldwide recognition. Through her tireless work, Roseline completes over 100 routine household visits per month. She presides over all of the community health meetings on general health and brings health services to the doorsteps of many who are in need. Roseline, a natural born leader and a mobilizing force in her community, is highly regarded for her active role in counseling women and has devoted much of her time to providing supplementary food to malnourished children. Roseline has been instrumental in educating her community on proper hygiene and sanitation practices which has resulted in a healthier community for all. Roseline Nuhu is a champion of champions.
